INTRODUCING ‘EARLY BIRD’ TICKETS

We’re delighted to be returning to perform our Paul Simon Story show at Flatford Mill again this Summer. Last Summer’s concert was sold out well in advance and we know many people were disappointed not to be able to get tickets. So for 2024 the date of the concert will be Sat.20th July, tickets will be £21.50, audience capacity is going to be increased from 200 to 300, and we are also going to introduce ‘early bird’ tickets – available now at £19.50 – so don’t delay…!

OUR QUIRKIEST GIG…

Certainly our quirkiest gig yet! A pop-up theatre with a stage, an audience and an ice cream van in a field in the middle of nowhere against the backdrop of some wonderful old railway arches. But again, a great evening!

RAIN DIDN’T STOP PLAY!

The Met Office got it wrong! It wasn’t supposed to rain, but it did! In fact it poured down, but nothing dampened the spirits of the wonderful audience who came to our sell-out Picnic Concert at the National Trust’s Flatford Mill last night!

Wrapped up in cagoules with blankets and umbrellas the resilient audience tapped feet, wiggled, danced and sang along, but above all kept smiling!

We’re SOLD OUT again!

It’s really encouraging that tickets for our next 2 concerts, at the Headgate theatre Colchester and the National Trust’s Flatford Mill site, have both completely Sold Out weeks in advance! But we will be playing concerts in Essex again at Witham in October and at Danbury in November – check our ‘Tour Dates’ for details…

KNEBWORTH ROCKS!

We had a great time performing our show on the lawn at Knebworth House on Saturday.  A lovely appreciative audience, good weather, and an absolutely superb location with the wonderful Knebworth House as a backdrop! A huge thank you to everybody who came, and most of all to Lord & Lady Lytton-Cobbold for letting it happen!

Music for a Summer’s evening…

Top tribute band ‘Shades of Simon’ are looking forward to presenting their highly acclaimed 2 hour theatre show “The Paul Simon Story” at a number of concerts throughout the East of England over the summer months.

In addition to performances in traditional theatre settings in Ipswich, Bungay, and Colchester, highlights of their summer season will be playing at outdoor picnic concerts in the grounds of the prestigious Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, the National Trust’s idyllic Flatford Mill in the Dedham Vale Suffolk, and the fantastically quirky outdoor Arches theatre under the railway arches at Clifton Reynes in Buckinghamshire!

Knebworth here we come!

We’re delighted that we’ll be playing a picnic concert in the gardens of Knebworth House next Summer! Really looking forward to that!
