THE PAUL SIMON STORY

The UK’s no.1 Paul Simon tribute band “Shades of Simon” will be bringing their highly acclaimed 2 hour show “The Paul Simon Story” to the Mill Arts Centre in Rayleigh for the 2nd year running in September 2025.

The show has an engaging narration telling the story of Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters of his generation, with the outstanding 5-piece band performing authentic renditions of the best of his songs from his time in Simon & Garfunkel in the 60’s (Homeward Bound, Sound of Silence, Bridge over troubled water etc.) through to his South African inspired Graceland tour in the 80’s (You can call me Al.)

The band are in high demand and performances have received rave reviews at venues ranging from the majestic Knebworth House, picnic concerts for the National Trust, to provincial theatres throughout the East of England.

The concert will be held on Saturday 13th September 2025 in the Mill arts & events centre in Bellingham Lane, Rayleigh. Doors open 6:45pm, the concert will start at 7:30pm and finish just after 10:00pm.  Seating will be theatre style in rows. Seats are unallocated so please come early so you can choose where to sit.  The Licensed bar will be open before the show and during the interval.  There is a free car park adjacent to the hall.  For those using public transport the hall is close to bus services in the High Street and less than half a mile from the Railway Station.

The hall has easy access with good facilities for disabled people.
