This concert is to help raise funds for the City Church Chelmsford’s Waterfront project to redevelop an existing historic building in the heart of Chelmsford to make a space for their growing young church!

"Shades of Simon" are the UK's no.1 Paul Simon tribute band and they will be presenting their highly acclaimed 2 hour theatre style show in tribute to Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters and performers of his generation.

With an engaging narration, exceptional musicianship and authentic renditions of the best of his songs from his time in Simon & Garfunkel in the 60's through to his Graceland tour in the 1980's, this is a show that appeals to all generations...

The performance will include early Simon & Garfunkel hits that have endured the test of time like Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water, followed by a selection from his early solo catalogue including the classic Still Crazy After All These Years, before ending with the infectious South African rhythms of Paul Simon’s Graceland tour in the 80’s and his biggest solo success,You Can Call Me Al.

Doors open 7:00pm.
The concert will start at 7:30pm and finish just after 10:00pm
