THE PAUL SIMON STORY
The popular folk-rock band 'Shades of Simon' are returning to the Headgate theatre in September with their theatre style show 'the Paul Simon Story'.
Performed in tribute to Paul Simon as one of best songwriters of his generation it blends an engaging narration with the best of his songs from his time in Simon & Garfunkel in the 60’s (Homeward Bound, Sound of Silence, Bridge over troubled water etc) through to his Graceland tour in the 1980’s (Still Crazy after all these years, You can call me Al).
The Headgate Theatre is run on a charitable basis and quite rightly describes itself as 'a little gem of a theatre'! It has a capacity of only 84 but which is ideal for intimate concert performances - but does mean tickets can sell out quickly! There is a licensed bar at the theatre which will be open during the interval and after the show.
Doors open 7:00pm. Show starts 7:45pm through to approx 10:30pm with a 25 minute interval .
