The band will be "Shades of Simon", the UK's most authentic sounding Paul Simon tribute band, presenting their acclaimed 2 hour theatre style show in tribute to Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters and performers of his generation.  With an engaging narration, exceptional musicianship and authentic renditions of the best of his songs from Simon & Garfunkel through to Graceland by a 5-piece band this is a show that appeals to all generations...

The performance will include early Simon & Garfunkel hits that have endured the test of time like Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water, followed by a selection from his early solo catalogue including the classic Still Crazy After All These Years, before ending with the infectious South African rhythms of Paul Simon’s Graceland tour in the 80’s and his biggest solo success,You Can Call Me Al.

The show will start at 8:00pm and be performed on the unique environment of the grassland area against the backdrop of the old railway arches.  Please bring your own picnic chairs or rugs, and picnic hamper with food and drinks. (There isn't a bar at the theatre!) This is an open air event and the concert will go ahead whatever the weather, so please come suitably prepared!
