The concert is being held in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity.  www.thebraintumourcharity.org

The concert will be a full evening of music from Shades of Simon - a band of musicians with a lifetime of experience who love the music of Paul Simon and who have been brought together to specifically create a theatre show to present the story of his life, with authentic performances of the best and most memorable songs of his outstanding 60 year career.

The performance will include early Simon & Garfunkel hits that have endured the test of time like The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water, followed by a selection from his early solo catalogue including the classic Still Crazy After All These Years, before ending with the infectious South African rhythms of Paul Simon’s Graceland tour in the 80’s and his biggest solo success,You Can Call Me Al.

There will not be a licensed bar at the concert but we will be offering a free glass of wine with nibbles, or a soft drink, during the interval.

COVID PRECAUTIONS AT THE CONCERT:  We will implement measures to keep the concert as COVID safe as possible in line with Govt recommendations.  The latest Govt recommendation is that members of the public wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet. Our Staff will wear face masks and we will encourage the audience to wear face masks too as it is difficult to maintain social distancing in a theatre.  Admission is by advance ticket only and on arrival we will scan the e-ticket on your phone to avoid having to handle cash or tickets. A drink and an individual pack of nibbles will be provided free during the interval. We will provide hand sanitising gel at key points throughout the building.  Staff will regularly use sanitising wipes to clean touch surfaces such as door handles. A one way system will be in operation around the building. Windows and doors will be kept open to maintain good ventilation so far as is reasonably possible. Community singing presents a significant risk so we suggest that on this occasion it is best to please not join in on the songs.
